Introducing WINGS – Employee Resource Group
We're thrilled to introduce Women+ Inclusive Network for Growth & Success (WINGS), a new Employee Resource Group (ERG) at EDFR. WINGS is dedicated to supporting women+ at our company.
This ERG's mission is clear: to empower and elevate women+ at every stage of their careers. WINGS will operate on three key pillars: workplace empowerment, community impact, and business innovation.
If you’re interested in joining, please visit the WINGs channel in the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Team. The leadership team will host the first official kick-off meeting for WINGS during Q4 2023. Details will be announced in the WIRE. WRISE Membership Available to All Employees – US and CAN
All EDFR employees can register for a Renewable Energy Professional Membership for WRISE, Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy. This membership, part of EDFR's renewed corporate sponsorship, offers access to resources, mentoring and exclusive events. Local chapters are also available throughout the United States and Canada.

Exciting Changes Coming to the Dayforce Homepage
We’re thrilled to share that a fresh and improved Dayforce homepage is on its way, set to launch October 2nd. The new design will provide a more intuitive and streamlined interface that caters to both employees and managers.
Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store:
Simplified User Experience: The new design will streamline the Dayforce experience by presenting essential details and resources at a glance, allowing easier navigation to important information, resources and tasks.
Some Exciting New Features:
- Your Favorites: Bookmark your frequently used features for even quicker access.
- Your Balances: Check your vacation, sick and personal holiday balances with ease.
- Your Earnings: Get an at-a-glance view of your earnings.
- Request Time Off: Submit time-off requests effortlessly.
- Request Time Off: Non-exempt employees can now conveniently punch in and out from the new homepage.

Mobile App Upgrade Reminder: Please make sure to update your Dayforce mobile app to the latest version. Find more details in the "Dayforce Mobile App Upgrade" article in the WIRE.

Coming Soon - 2023 MyEDF Survey
Why Employee Engagement is Important: Fostering employee engagement is good for employees and the business! Studies show that employees who are highly engaged are motivated, driven by a larger purpose, and feel connected to their peers. This leads to higher job satisfaction and better business results such as profitability and employee retention.
How We Measure It – the Annual MyEDF Survey: One way we track employee engagement is through the MyEDF Survey, which takes place every November. We’re happy to share that last year our engagement index went up by three points to 86%, which is well above the industry benchmark of 74%.
Be on the lookout for the 2023 MyEDF Survey, which will launch on November 1st and run through December 1st.
